wait how do people know that gardevoir can summon black holes if a black hole would literally end the entire world
because you’re citing a pokédex entry written by a 12 year old whose idea of a black hole is the same as a shadow ball

With Typhlosion trending, I think it's time to bring up the, "Humans and pokemon were one in the same," and the implications that humans uses to breed with pokemon. Please do not worry, this post is as SFW as it can be, but I do apologize for some other stuff that mighr be brought into it. I'm just discussing the origins of where these ideas came from.
"Did people mary pokemon?"
Yes, and while I'm sure there are some... different cases, most of the marriage worked differently than human marriages. The marriage itself was about the union; not the romance or the children that were expected of from marriage at the time. I explained it in this post, but the Diamond and Pearl clans of Sinnoh would "mary" their lord or lady pokemon, not in a romantic sense, but in a union sense. The wardens would still be allowed to have relations with or marry humans. Even outside of the clans, there were some instances of people marrying their pokemon to show a union between them that wasn't romantic.
In modern day, marrying your pokemon partner is considered taboo due to the modern ideas of marriage focusing on the romantic aspect of it only. Modern-day members of the Diamond and Pearl clans will still sometimes have the practices of weddings with their lord or lady pokemon, even if they are not legally married. It's important to know that, if you're meeting a warden who is married to their lord or lady, that they are bonded in marriage, but not in the way that modern society sees marriage.
The clans have always seemed to view pokemon as one of them. There are instances of people calling their partner pokemon their brothers, sisters, parents, or children. While I do not originate from these clans, I do follow a similar belief. I have been partners with my Dragapult, Aosmhor, since I was 10 years old, and she feels like a sister to me. I do not use pokeballs on my pokemon (accept for Mallaithe the Runerigus, but that was a catch-or-die situation) because I follow a similar belief that they can be used to control your pokemon. These pokemon feel like family to me, and I do not wish to put them into tiny balls.
"Can humans and pokemon have kids?"
Theoretically? Yes. But not with just any pokemon. It's assumed that humans could potentially make a successful embryo with related species to us, like Oranguru or Gardevoir, but no one (that we know of) has ever tried to make an embryo in a lab or anywhere else. There could've been some potential hybrids in history, but nothing ever fully concrete.
//Don't come at me, I didn't just pull this outta my ass. There was a successful human/chimpanzee embryo in a lab
"Where did the myths of humans having children with pokemon originate?"
One reason is that it was most likely to explain why a pokemon looks the way it does. Typhlosion can be mistaken for human from a faraway distance (same height as a human, very human-like eyes, sometimes walks on 2 legs), and people back then must've thought it was part human/part pokemon. It's also why there are so many myths of Ghost Types once being human; to explain their odd behaviours. While I'm actually a believer that some ghost types were once human (Yamask, Spiritomb), pokemon like Gengar most likely weren't human. But, there are myths of it once being human because it follows humans, hides in human's shadows and, despite its wideness, it is the same height as a small human.
The stories could also just be for entertainment or to teach a lesson. A common theme amongst a lot of folklore is, "don't be tricked by seduction." Since fairytales love their symbolism, they'd often use pokemon such as Foxmon or Humanoid-mon as the symbolism for seduction, since many foxes are able to do magic or are just very sneaky, and some humanoid-mons can be easy to mistake for human women. It's why there's so much folklore of Zoroark turning into beautiful women, Primarina luring men to their deaths, and Kantonian Ninetales luring men into the woods with illusions of beautiful women. It's not literal; it's all a metaphor.
Some do have a grain of truth, though. Zoroark would use their illusions to look like humans, but Hisuian Zoroark rarely did this since they wanted to avoid humans. Primarina have beautiful voices that would enchant any sailor, but since they were still wild Pokemon, the Primarina must've felt threatened or scared by the sailors and would harm them in self defense. Ninetales create illusions from fire, and will sometimes use these illusdions to keep people away. But, they rarely ever do it to keep people in the forest, since they dont like anyone in their territory, and the illusions were often scary. But, for the sake of storytelling snd explaining things they couldnt understand, they would change it.
Then there's Frolass, who will just lure men away and freeze them. That one's real. Beware of Froslass if you're a man or too masculine presenting. Unless you're my kid apparently. Froslass just get confused looking at them...

Hey guys, did you know the in terms of human-pokemon relationships, Gardevoir is by far the best possible partner? On top of their intellect rivaling that of Homo Sapiens (more rather, humans) thanks to their Psychic-Fairy lineage, their hidden ability, Telepathy, allows you to communicate with your gardevoir about what both of you would want, consent to any activity both parties would be interested in, discuss optimal battle strategies, and more. This means that miscommunication would be miniscule at worst. Even without Telepathy, Synchronize and Trace provides excellent utility in and out of battles. Gardevoir can also read the future, allowing both of you to anticipate any events that would've been otherwise disastrous. Of course we cannot forget the fact that the species themselves are loyal to their trainers, bordering on fanaticism. So long as you treat them right, they'll be by your side, through and through. They can also learn life-important moves like Calm Mind, Heal Pulse, Teleport, Psych Up, Psychic, and more. As a means of assisting you in anything at hand, or you just need to vent about that annoying co-worker at your workplace. In battles, thay can equip themselves with powerful moves such as Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Moonblast, Focus Blast, and Energy Ball. Thus, allowithem to exploit their powerful Special Attack and decent Speed. It gets better when you successfully Mega Evolve them, as it boosts their already powerful stats. Best of all, the species' gender ratio is about 50-50. In other words, the ladies who would consider wanting a husbando Gardevoir isn't beyond the realm possibility. A win-win scenario for both human males and females who want a waifu or husbando in their lives, respectively. Arceus definitely knew what he was doing. With Amazing Special Attack, Special Defense and Impressive Speed means they can be the best waifu/husbando for you and for others, and many more to come.
grow up

Chapter 47- Part 19
And here we are again, Gallade and Gardevoir…but this time, we’re less on the back foot! I’ll use Jack’s turn to heal Mal back up to full (to get the Focus Sash effect back), while Riptide uses Water Pledge on Gallade. Even if both of them go down here, we’ve still got Rue and Mal healthy in the back!
Huh- the Gallade targeted Jack’s slot with Fire Punch, but Gardevoir had already beaten him, so Fire Punch hit Riptide instead and he lived. That…worked. Also, apparently Riptide outspeeds both Gallade and Gardevoir?? I can’t even begin to figure out how that works, so- it’s time for Mal!
TWO OF THEM!!!
Well, if Riptide can outspeed these two, Mal certainly can. Let’s double into Gallade with Ice Fang and Punishment- don’t need to worry about Justified if Gallade faints before it can utilize the Attack boost! Also worth mentioning is Radomus trying to use an Ultra Potion to heal Gallade, but alas, it’s a bit late for the healing.
I had a feeling that was gonna happen sooner instead of later, but that just allows Rue to come in for free for the finale!
I COMPLETELY FORGOT HE STILL HAD SLOWKING-
No no no, we’re fine, Rue and Mal are both surely faster, so let’s take care of the real threat first- double into Gardevoir with Shadow Ball and Punishment!
Sorry Gardevoir, but it had to be done!! Xera’s taking no prisoners to get her eighth Badge, don’t cancel her on the news please!!
Oooh the Slowking knows Trick Room too, aaaaaah…it’s okay, it’s still okay, it’s a 2v1, we’ll just double up with Shadow Ball and Punishment again.
Mal getting a burn isn’t great, but Rue can pick up the slack with another Shadow Ball while I heal Mal with another Milk. Slowking can’t stop both of them!! No way!!
oooooooooooooooooooh there goes my soul ascending from my body again oh no-
It sure is, dude…it sure is…
Also, there’s…certainly something to be said about the pair of Pokémon Xera ultimately used to finish this fight being the same ones who impersonated people whose deaths she not only witnessed, but more than likely feels some responsibility for (Mal with the Corey disguise, Rue with the whole vengeful Kiki spirit thing). I don’t know what can be said, but it’s…something, to be sure!
Cool name, wow, have you ever watched Yu-Gi-Oh!? Sorry for the lackluster commentary, I’m just…still reeling from winning that fight.
Aha, I shoulda known that’d be the TM given out here, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Yeah, her being a Gym Leader too…she’s gotta be the next one we’re facing, right? I mean, we’re already here, she’s right there, I don’t see any reason to just…put it off for some reason.

Assigning trainers who don't have 6 Pokémon additional Pokémon. Disclaimer is in the first episode.
Day II: Irida and Adaman
By nobody's demand we got to Irida and Adaman and these are grouped together because they are in virtually the same situation. They have 3 Eeveelutions at their most full team and that's it. No other Pokémon aside from the Ursaluna and Hisuian Zoroark they had been assigned in Masters EX.
Let's start with Irida and her team, which consists of:
1. Glaceon
Knowing the following: Water Pulse, Calm Mind, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball
2. Espeon
With the moves Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Psychic and Dazzling Gleam
Now onto Adaman since I will also be doing the analysis for them together:
3. Flareon
With Quick Attack, Iron Tail or Baby-Doll Eyes, Flamethrower and Rock Smash in its moveset.
1. Leafeon
With the moves X-Scissor, Calm Mind, Leaf Blade and Iron Tail.
3. Vaporeon
2. Umbreon
Knowing Quick Attack, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball and either Psychic or Baby-Doll Eyes
That has been taught Quick Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Aqua Tail and Ice Beam.
You can already tell that their theme is that they are opposite of eachother but also Eevee users, which is EXTREMELY LIMITING because there's just... No Pokémon like Eevee. And yes, you could fill spot 4 with Jolteon and Sylveon, 1 for each but they aren't counterparts in either type or just in general, since Jolteon has been introduced as a part of a trio and Sylveon is a stand-alone Eeveelution.
In my honest opinion, the best way to fill their teams is actually with the Noble Pokémon of their respective clans, specifically with the species that are met at the same point in the story, for example Adaman with Wyrdeer, Lilligant and Basculegion, meanwhile Irida with Kleavor, Ursaluna and Arcanine.
Another solution would be Pokémon that are counterparts because they either belong to the same evolution line or by other means, ie. Gardevoir-Gallade, Electivire-Magmortar and Beautifly-Dustox.
Another solution would be to give them the Pokémon they have with their Special Costume, that being as I mentioned Ursaluna and Hisuian Zoroark and then 2 proposals:
1st Pokémon from the Lake trials and either Mesprit or Azelf (personally would do Mesprit and Adaman and Azelf and Irida for nice contrast in colour coordination).
2nd a Hisuian form nobody is yet using + Hisuian Goodra and Garchomp, really depends on who you interpret to end up with which Pseudolegendary, but I do believe that them being able to call the Noble Pokémon for battle would be more interesting if we were to give them a full team of 6.
Like, this is one of the cases where a full team is not a good idea and a 3 member team is very much for the better.
Anyways, see you at another self-indulgent post!

Hello! My name is Sunny☀️ and I use she/her/they/them pronouns. I am a pokemon trainer and and and up and coming coordinator living in Hoenn. I'll mostly post my stuff about the hoenn league, pokemon contests, pokemon or just some random stuff.
Here's my picture 📷
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/40028ad620b38d2090cd15dada8f7fc2/e77da910c7fa9e7c-ee/s540x810/c18e55fa1791e6cf9b5a6bd3d080ba500a123f32.jpg)
(Picrew by me!)
Other stuff
I have been living in Hoenn for my entire life here so if you have any questions about the region you can ask me! The history, culture, pokemon that lives there anything!👍
I was a huge fan of watching pokemon contests on tv and admired the coordinators performing on stage so that's what inspired me to become a coordinator.
I also learning about pokemon on @quillpokebiology blog. You should check them out there really awesome!
I also have a penpal name Callister who owns the @pokeblogingalar. He's awesome so check him out too!
Also please talk to me I'm really lonley🥺
My team
My mom was a pokemon rescuer and she would adopt them when I was little so my childhood was involved with a lot of pokemon and basically loved pokemon ever since I was a little baby :) Some of the pokemon I had were given to me on my birthdays and some of them I caught in the wild when I was 10 thanks to my dad teaching me (he's a pokemon professor btw). Thanks mom and dad!
But anyways here's my team!
Phoenix the Blaziken ♂️
Move set: Flamethrower, Blaze Kick, Stone edge, Thunder punch
I had Phoenix ever since he was a little pokemon egg. My mom rescued the egg from a forest fire and knew when the egg hatched it wouldn't be able to survive because the eviorment got destroyed and couldn't find it's mother so she brought it home and later hatched into a Torchic. Me and Phoenix are really close and he helped me a lot during the gym challenges. He sometimes acts like a older brother figure to the rest of my team and is really nice, patient and smart!
Siren the Milotic ♀️
Moveset: Hydro Pump, Bubble Beam, Disarming Voice, Aqua Ring
I got Siren from a pokemon breeding center after I got my first gym badge. She's quite shy but loves it when I groom her. She also hates it when she get's dirty but is sweet nonetheless.
Cloudy the Altaria ♂️
Moveset: Mist, Dazzling Gleam, Dragon pulse, Draco Meteor
Cloudy was a present I got from my mom when I was 9 years old. He was a swablu at the time. He's really energetic and loves to play so he's really productive. But sometimes he can be gremlin and loves to bother my other pokemon just for fun.
Aurora the Gardevoir ♀️
Moveset: Prismatic Laser, Energy Ball, Physic, Light Screen
I caught Aurora when she was a Kirlia back when I was on my way to the 3rd gym. I managed to complete the gym in one sweep thanks to her. (She's one tough cookie!). Aurora acts like a older sister to my team so she gets along with them very well. But she doesn't tolerate Cloudy's antics and scolds whenever he does something stupid.
Apollo the Absol ♂️
Moveset: Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Ice Beam, Swords Dance
Apollo was another pokemon I got from mom as a present on my 11th birthday. I always gushed about having an absol because I thought they were so cool. I didn't know what to name him so my dad recommended the name Apollo. Apollo also helped me a lot on my gym challenges so I'm really grateful for that. I knew that Absol's dislike fighting so I only used him if my other pokemon had fainted and he was the only one left and mostly use him for contests. Apollo is a bit more reclusive than Siren but still he's nice!
Angel the Sylveon ♀️
Moveset: Fairy Wind, Attract, Swift, Moon Blast
Last but not least Angel! I got Angel when she was an eevee. Poor thing was bullied by a bunch of mightyena so I drove the pack away with Phoenix and Aurora. I guess I got my 'helping pokemon' genes from my mom. Since then she started to follow me everywhere and I didn't wanted to leave the cute thing alone so I decided to catch her! Since then I have been taking of her with proper care, love and attention and then she evolved into sylveon and gotten much stronger. Like her name suggests she is a huge sweetheart and loves to be productive❤
Other:
Via the Shiny Beautifly ♀️
Moveset: Shadowball, Pollen Puff, Silver Wind, Morning Sun
This is Via our newest member of the pokemon peforming team! She is sooo beautiful, precious and I caught her last week! She is a bit shy and not much of a battler like Apollo but a kind-hearted darling♡ I am going to take good care of her!
Well that's all! Also I really have to thank the power of friendship for the evolving Angel into a sylveon!!
Rules:
-I am a minor and this is SFW blog.
-If I see anyone being homophobic, xenophobic(racism), pedophilic I will block you.
-I will not tolerate any kind of bullying or any kind of harrassment.
-No spamming either. I will post here and there so please be patient.

Fables say gardevoir can foresee the future. They might not actually have those abilities passively, but it’s still worth noting. In ancient times gardevoir was often recorded saving its trainer from harm at the last moment. So aim your shots carefully, and don’t make your presence known. Pokemon that can sense emotions are dangerously perceptive.

[Cw. violence between two pokémon]
[A recording is uploaded. Samantha the Gardevoir has already decided to go outside, it seems that she already knows what's about to happen. she points towards the Camera, then Bits hiding spot. she isn't surprised when Bit comes out from his hiding Place. ]
[she approaches him, and runs her hand over the Horn. She knows what he wants she. Bit is sweating, as much as a porygon2 can sweat, which means that his wireframes become visible and he switches to Phong Reflection. ]
[she stops in front of him, she has accepted her fate, her future sight sees that the universal convergence has to end. she stretches her arms out. as if to say "do it."]
[Bit has regained his Determination and starts attacking the Horn with his Ice Beam. Samantha falls to her knees, it seems to hurt her. but Bit doesn't stop. He has a Goal. He won't stop until the Horn has been completely frozen over.]
[It is covered in Ice, Bit starts pecking at it like a Video of a Drinking bird that has been sped up by a Factor of 1000. Now its time. he uses his Psychokinesis to lift the Horn, and then throws a barrage of Shadow Balls at her they hi- ]

(hey, here's a newer format i might try out to get the storybeats figured out. apologies in advance for more rushed art, i'm still in a bit of an artblock.)
Moving In (3)
It's morning. Gardevoir doesn't really enjoy mornings. Gardevoir doesn't seem to enjoy a lot, really.
Gardevoir decides to go out for a walk. She doesn't even really 'enjoy' walks, she just needed the alone time. As she paces through the nearby forest Gardevoir finds herself starting to wake up more, in a rather decent mood too. Around then, a rather distracting rustling noise comes in. It's fairly loud, it's very annoying. It's TOO annoying.
Gardevoir just nonchalantly throws a Shadow Ball at the rustling, whatever was making the rustling was directly hit, "Shut the fuck UP." Gardevoir begins, before the creature causing the disturbance loudly exclaims "OWWAAH!" Gardevoir hadn't fully waken up so the pained cry startled her a bit. Whatever empath was left over in the scraggly Gardevoir took over for a second as she went to check up on whatever she just nailed. Gardevoir pushes the bush leaves back to reveal a Butterfree writhing in pain on the ground nex to a half-eaten Oran berry. "Oh. Hello." Gardevoir awkwardly stares at the poor thing, knowing that she was absolutely to blame. The Butterfree was just eating and she knocked it's lights out cuz it disturbed her 'Brooding Wake Up' walk.
Gardevoir rather hesitantly starts to inch away from the Butterfree before bolting it back to the house. So far her day hasn't gone that well. Gardevoir, oddly politely, knocks on her trainer Sandra's door. It's barely bright out as morning has only barely arrived, so there was no guarantee there would be an answer, but lo and behold Sandra comes out, messy hair, drooped face, wearing her all-black pajamas. "What. On Earth. Could've POSSIBLY made you come wake me up?" Sandra moodily asks, Gardevoir rather embarrassingly replies "uh.. s-So I was doing my morning walk, right? And the strangest thing happens, this Butterfree comes up on me out of NOWHERE," She's clearly bullshitting, and Sandra sees right through her like glass, "s-so uh.. I kinda tossed a Shadow Ball at it, and now it's just kinda… suffering in the forest over there." Sandra gives her the most obvious disappointed face she possibly could. "Okay, whatever, I'm sure the VISCOUS and BLOODTHIRSTY Butterfree got what was coming to it…" Sandra starts to close the door about to attempt to go back to sleep, before her senses finally also wake up, "Wait, wait, you just left it there?" "uh" "… okay. Go wake Shroud up, let's go see."
Sandra and her little team of two make their way out to the forest to where Gardevoir ruined the Butterfree's morning, to find it STILL wincing and writhing in pain. "Damn, I thought I was getting rusty." Gardevoir remarks. Shroud goes up to the Butterfree and gives it a Sitrus to gnaw on while Sandra goes to comfort it. "Did the Jolly Green Giant getcha?" It nods as it takes a comically large bite off the berry "Yeah, well.. Let's go get you all fixed up." Sandra gently lifts the Butterfree off the ground and starts to bring her back to the house.

Cynthia vs Diantha
"Heh, I expected you to have more respect for me than to go into this match with a disadvantage..." A small smile crossed Diantha's lips as she and Cynthia stood across from each other on the beach with Garchomp and Gardevoir between them.
"It's not disrespect, Garchomp's my strongest pokemon, and I wouldn't want to go into this with anything less than my best. For this battle I want to do things at my peak even if that makes it more difficult." Cynthia held up the lipstick tube holding her keystone while Diantha prepared her own Mega Charm.
"LET'S GO!" Twin orbs of light engulfed the Champions' ace pokemon sending shockwaves across the beach and rippling the waves as Garchomp and Gardevoir exploded with energy and transformed into their Mega Forms.
"They haven't even started yet and they're already making a mess..." Dawn sighed, shaking her head from the sidelines.
"Yeah, guess it makes sense why this one is on the beach instead of the usual arena, even this far away I bet they're feeling it back at the villa." Touko smirked, crossing her arms and glancing up towards the villa on the hill overlooking the beach.
"Shadow Ball!" Diantha called, a sphere of dark energy forming in front of the Mega Gardevoir and firing at Garchomp.
"Garchomp, Sandstorm!" With a single mighty stomp, Garchomp kicked up enough sand from the beach to create a massive torrent of swirling sand surrounding the arena, simultaneously obscuring its position for an instant to dodge the opposing projectile.
"I see, creating a home field advantage that'll hurt Gardevoir and power up your Garchomp's moves, now I'm the one on the backfoot." Diantha's mind puzzled through her options, knowing prep time inside the buffeting winds of the sandstorm would only whittle down her chances but rushing in against the behemoth would be equally foolish. "Gardevoir, Reflect!" Focusing her power, Gardevoir created a barrier wall around her to reduce Garchomp's ability to damage it, cancelling out its sandstorm boost and then some.
"Just what I thought you'd do." Cynthia grinned, wordlessly instructing Garchomp to close the distance between them, practically surfing on the wall of sand swirling around them and popping out right next to Gardevoir. "Brick Break!" Focusing the power of its claw into a karate chop, it struck Gardevoir in the side, shattering the Reflect's defensive abilities in an instant. It did minimal damage on its own but it was essentially making Diantha's efforts a waste of time which was all the more dangerous as she watched her pokemon take continuous damage from the Sandstorm with each passing moment.
Diantha didn't seem worried at all however, a thin smile crossing her lips again. "And that's just what I thought you'd do... Now you're in range and can't use the sandstorm as cover. Just because Garchomp is a special attacker doesn't mean I can't take advantage of point-blank range."
"Wait, what are you..."
"HYPER VOICE!" Like an acetelene torch firing up, a small focused burst of sound emerged from Gardevoir's mouth only to turn pink and explode into a dome of energy that pierced the veil of the sandstorm as Mega Gardevoir's Pixelate added power and Fairy Type to the otherwise Normal Hyper Voice.
"Garchomp!" Cynthia called out, but it was slightly too late to dodge, Garchomp barely able to turn out of the blast at all, making it not a direct hit but devastating all the same. "So you switched up your moveset since the last time we battled huh?"
"Can't keep coming to you with the same old tricks." Diantha grinned proudly. Once the smoke cleared Garchomp was on one knee, still standing but struggling to get upright. "It can't dodge, Gardevoir, Hyper Voice again!"
"Garchomp, DOWN!" Cynthia commanded in a way that wouldn't be immediately obvious to her opponent but was a clear indication to her partner that had spent hours and hours training with her and learning each others' signals intimately. Once again the Hyper Voice collected around Gardevoir's mouth before changing color and exploding outwards, in an energy blast that not only shook away the sandstorm completely but kept going across the sea line and into the nearby forest across the beach, ripping through several of the trees in its wake.
Expecting to see either her imminent victory or some desperate attempt to turn the tables, Diantha was surprised to see nothing when the smoke and sand cleared again. It took a moment too long for her mind to put the pieces together, partially due to the fact that the hole from where Garchomp had been standing was somewhat camoflauged by sand sinking into it. "Gardevoir, below you!"
"DIIIIG!!" Cynthia shouted as the land shark pokemon emerged right underneath Gardevoir's feet, delivering a powerup uppercut to the fairy-type pokemon along with all the rocks and debris it carried up with it buffeting Diantha's ace.
Expecting that to be the end of it, Diantha planned her next move, with Gardevoir having been hit with that and several turns of the Sandstorm's winds chipping away at her, it seemed both pokemon would be down to the wire soon, but she still had the type advantage. To her horror however, Cynthia wasn't about to give them the chance to regroup.
"Pin it!" The Champion shouted, Garchomp going straight from the connecting blow from Dig to spinning its whole body, rotating from the punch to knock Gardevoir off-balance and pin the Kalos Champion's pokemon under its large foot. "You're not the only one who likes point-blank attacks..."
Having enough of being caught a second behind, Diantha pivoted to an immediate offense, not willing to let the swift combo rob them of their chance to finish this. Even though it was pinned, she instructed her pokemon not to fight the position and simply hit her opponent with everything she had.
"Garchomp..."
"Gardevoir..."
"EARTHQUAKE!!!"
"MOONBLAST!!!"
The two signature moves went off within seconds of each other, Gardevoir channeling a huge amount of pink energy that was less intense than the Hyper Voice but covered a wider range while Garchomp struck the very earth itself hard enough to cause a massive fissure in the beach, rumbling with the foot directly on top of Gardevoir carrying with it the powerful tremor as if the natural disaster was coursing through every fiber of her being.
The ground split and the heavens erupted, the pink light from the Moonblast glistening in the sky as if there was a full moon in broad daylight and the spider-web of fissures caused by the Earthquake changing the landscape of the beach for quite some time.
The two Champions and their spectators watched with hardly a breath between them as the smoke cleared to see who would emerge victorious. With a mighty roar, Garchomp raised a scythe-like claw out of the scattered sand, panting and barely able to hold its Mega form any longer as the silver light reverted it back to its base physique, Gardevoir lying in the sand behind it thoroughly fainted.
"Heh, guess it missed, it's probably pretty hard to aim when you have an Earthquake going on on top of you..." Cynthia chuckled softly, amused with her victory.
"Good job Gardevoir." Diantha sighed, returning her pokemon. "It was pretty foolish of me to think I could win a quick draw when the enemy was literally on top of us..." The Kalos Champion shook her head but smiled over at Cynthia.
"Guess lunch is on me today."

Ambrose and Elliot: With Pokemon!
Ambrose and Elliot Masterpost
I've been getting into Pokemon again recently and I'm here to inflict that on all of you
Here's the pokemon teams for Elliot, Ambrose, and Janus:
Elliot
1. Growlithe: Level 15, Ability: intimidate, Nature: Gentle
Moveset: Bite, Ember, Leer, Protect
As a gift from Ambrose, Growlithe is more of a service dog than a battle pokemon. He follows Elliot everywhere, which soothes Elliot's anxiety. His warm and plush fur keeps Elliot comfy at night, and his moves keep people who scare Elliot far away. When Elliot is frightened, Growlithe will keep watch over him.
2. Mimikyu: Level 6, Ability: Disguise, Nature: Naughty
Moveset: Astonish, Copycat, Splash, Shadow Sneak
Mimikyu followed Elliot home one day after he went for a walk. Elliot and Mimikyu are good friends, but Elliot doesn't know any of her moves. Mimikyu just likes hanging out with him, and Elliot doesn't really consider her 'his'. People learn not to ask questions about it.
As a non-violent person, Elliot has never battled, nor has any desire to. His pokemon are his friends, and that's good enough for him.
Ambrose
1. Gardevoir: Level 49, Ability: Synchronize, Nature: Modest
Moveset: Psychic, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss
Ambrose received this pokemon as a wedding gift when she was a wee ralts. His only pokemon to know Janus, Gardevoir misses him almost as much as Ambrose. Currently, she helps Ambrose run the inn.
2. Mudsdale: Level 40, Ability: Own Tempo, Nature: Docile
Moveset: Earthquake, Heavy Slam, Stomp, Iron Defense
Mudsdale is very helpful when Ambrose needs to travel, and is a calm and steady steed. Ambrose hoped Elliot would be willing to learn to ride him, but Ellie is too scared of horses to try.
3. Pidgeot: Level 38, Ability: Keen Eye, Nature: Jolly
Moveset: Fly, Aerial Ace, Steel Wing, Roost
Pidgeot has delivered messages and packages to the inn since he was a little pidgey. Pidgeot is reliable and never late; and is not very fond of James. He does like Elliot, but Ellie is also a bit scared of him.
Ambrose was headhunted as a gym leader when he was younger, but his parents made him turn it down. It's one decision he actually stands by, as he does love raising pokemon but doesn't want to be forced to use only one type. All of his pokemon are battle-vialble, but they work at Hearthwood Inn instead of fighting. He thinks it's a good precaution to have high level pokemon around.

2. Milotic: Level 70, Ability: Marvel Scale, Nature: Mild
Moveset: Surf, Ice Beam, Body Slam, Dragon Dance
3. Galarian Rapidash: Level 68, Ability: Pastel Veil, Nature: Careful
Moveset: Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, Smart Strike, Agility
4. Serperior: Level 68, Ability: Overgrow, Nature: Serious
Moveset: Solar Beam, Energy Ball, Dragon Pulse, Giga Drain

Moveset: Discharge, Volt Switch, Swift, Thunder Wave
6. Alolan Marowak: Level 66, Ability: Lightning Rod, Nature: Calm
Moveset: Flame Thrower, Shadow Bone, Earthquake, Hex
Janus has all the time in the world to raise and train pokemon, and it shows. This team is only his current pokemon, as he has raised and said goodbye to many before. Zoroark is his only constant.

I have no clue how competitive pokemon works but here's how I'd design a cute team that can also kill you based on what I see others do online
Whimsicott would hold a red card and knows the moves energy ball, moonblast, pyschic, and encore.
Miniku would hold a muscle band and know the moves shadow claw, play rough, leech life, and pain split.
Snorlax would hold a figy berry and know the moves body slam, fire punch, iron head, and curse.
Gardevoir would hold a choice scarf and know the moves psychic, moonblast, trick, and healing wish.
Primarina would hold choice specs and know the moves hypervoice, moonblast, hidden power, and energy ball
Tapu koko would hold a choice scarf and know the moves thunderbolt, hidden power, volt switch, and dazzling gleam
More competetive pokemon team ideas coming soon if this post gets attention
I already have ideas for colour themed teams that could kill you lol

WHOMST HATH AWOKETH ME?
ASDFHDDHJDSDJNRSDBH JUST FOR READING THAT FANTINE THE MURDER GARDEVOIR IS STARING AT ME WITH PURE MALICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diantha and Synchronization.
Chris here again.
For those who don't know, we've spent the last several months in Unova competing in this year's World Coronation Series and have recently reached the top 50 after defeating Celica Swann a few days ago.
I had no expectation to get this far, but now that we have got there, the next milestone is a huge one. This part of WCS is basically a classic e4 challenge. Out of our 5 scheduled Ultra Rank placement matches for the near future (not including exhibitions or challenges from lower ranks which we get a lot more of), we've completed and won 2. If we win 2 more, then the 6th will be none other than current Kalos Champion Diantha.
It won't be our first run in with a champion, in the Sinnoh league we've had the opportunity to test our skills against our own champion Cynthia seven times.
However of those seven battles, six of them we got absolutely destroyed, and the seventh we only drew because Cynthia got maybe 4 hours of sleep the previous night and was in a huge slump. Its why, while we're technically hall of famers, I don't really consider it earned, we got in on a technicality.
One thing we've learned from those encounters is that it requires far more thought about how to answer each threat a champion's team presents. Diantha's team in particular is extremely well balanced and adaptable. I'm working on prep for each member but for sake of brevity here I'm going to let Freya talk about who is overwhelmingly the most dangerous threat:
------------------------
Meet Giselle (Right obviously).
She is the Gardevoir who works as Diantha's ace, and in Ralts communities around the world she's become a very distinct celebrity of her own (although in a way more similar to Cynthia then to her trainer ;>). Throughout her career, Giselle has built up a reputation as being among the best fighters in our species recorded history, and she has pioneered a lot of tactics which have become standard. For example: I use a lot of short ranged teleport spam, which doesn't use the move and therefore doesn't require a slot. Well, she's the one who brought that tactic into the mainstream.
Her style also makes use of a lot of telekinesis, especially using it on herself to levitate above the ground and gain some pretty insane mobility. Offensively, she tends to forgo setup and complexity in favor of all out aggression and power with a wide variety of projectile options, alongside the classic psychic/moonblast combo, her gotos are shadow ball and thunderbolt, which work as a mixup and area denial option respectively.
TL;DR she's a complete beast ;>
Alright back to Chris
-----------------
As a trainer, the pair of them also have another advantage, that being that Diantha, while she often tries to keep this secret, has some very minor psychic abilities, which allows the two of them to, in a very limited capacity exchange commands telepathically.
Even that small amount however provides a massive advantage in coordination, one of our biggest recent losses was against a psychic trainer who was able to communicate with her ace exclusively through telepathy due to that advantage.
Trying to replicate a similar effect on our end is the biggest way we can even the odds, however because I'm not psychic and we haven't really looked into this before so far there's been no luck.
However we might be able to make some progress soon, as I was able to order one of the Synchro Machines being worked on by the blueberry academy faculty of engineering, which claims to be able to enable telepathic communication and even sense sharing between even non psychic humans and their pokemon.
Will update here and on chatter about the results of that, hopefully we'll be able to apply some of things that happen with that.

Chapter 47- Part 18
Now, we’ll just double up on Reuniclus with Sucker Punch and Shadow Ball.
I don’t like how Malamar’s Throat Chop got a crit there…
Okay, here’s what I’ll do now- I’ll heal Jack with a Moomoo Milk, while Karma does a bit of damage with Sucker Punch against Slowking (who is a Rook, if you couldn’t tell).
And Radomus is…switching out the Malamar…?
HE HAS A KING METAGROSS TOO!? So I was technically right about him having a Steel/Psychic-type just thE WRONG ONE-
why
Okay, another Sucker Punch ought to finish Slowking, so I’ll have Karma do that (hopefully Sucker Punch out-priorities Metagross) and I’ll…heal Jack again, I guess?
That worked, good! So we’ll have Karma Sucker Punch yet again, this time on Metagross, and I’ll switch out Jack for Riptide (the real one, not Mal).
Why does Throat Chop keep critting-
Should I really send Jack back in…? Maybe I can heal both him and Riptide?
Now…maybe Jack can get a Shadow Ball in while Riptide Ice Fangs the Malamar?
Okay I forgot Metagross had Ice Punch but wHAT DO YOU MEAN IT FLINCHED-!? …Oh my gosh, this Metagross must have a King’s Rock too, just like that one Gym Trainer with the whole Beldum line. They- They gave two different Trainers in the same Gym the same Pokémon with the same gimmick?? JUST GIVE ONE OF THEM A BRONZONG (or literally any other bulky Psychic-type) AT THAT POINT WHAT DO YOU MEAN-
And Jack gets horribly disrespected, which fits how I’m feeling right now. Fine! Radomus likes doubling up on Pokémon in this Gym, huh!? WELL I’LL SHOW HIM WHAT SEEING DOUBLE REALLY LOOKS LIKE-
TWO OF THEM!!!
But I didn’t bring in Mal just to be petty, I actually have a plan- he’s going to use Night Slash on the Metagross, while Riptide Ice Fangs Malamar again.
Yeah the Malamar has Superpower, I forgot about that too (probably because the first time it used it, it was when I switched Mal out for Jack so it had no effect), um…time for Rue to come in early, I suppose?
Luckily, Trick Room is over now, so we’ll Shadow Ball Metagross and Water Pledge Malamar.
THREE BOSSES USE GALLADES!? THREE GALLADES!?!
It’s down to the wire now, but- but hear me out, we might still be fine…! Use a Knight-boosted Shadow Ball on Gardevoir, while Riptide attacks Gallade with…I guess Crunch?
Okay I forgot about the possibility of Justified, but we’re on the back foot anyways (especially since Gardevoir has a Sitrus Berry), let’s be real-
Yeah. Okay, reset time!
But honestly, that…wasn’t bad, for a first attempt? I got him down to his last two Pokémon, and had them in the yellow no less. I really think my main problem was guessing the Trick Room user wrong on that first turn, but now that I know it’s Reuniclus, I can have Mal Taunt it as originally planned while Prong deals with Malamar.
And then…I guess we’ll go from there? I’ve seen a good chunk of what all of his Pokémon can do- Malamar and Reuniclus are Pawns, Slowking is Rook, Metagross is King, Gallade is Bishop, Gardevoir is Queen like I predicted…I’ll just play it by ear, and without Trick Room we should be in a better spot.
Okay so I was GOING to Taunt, but then I…had a thought about something, so I went back and looked up exactly what Magic Coat protects against, and…yeah, Taunt is one of the statuses it can reflect. Maybe if I’d remembered that the first time, it might’ve been a clue to me figuring out Reuniclus was the Trick Roomer, but alas…
But okay, no Taunt…guess that just means we’ll need to double into Reuniclus with damage, Prong with Bug Buzz and Mal with Punishment.
And there goes the Trick Room- and Malamar’s Rock Slide didn’t even flinch this time!
Metagross already? Okay, I’ll switch out Mal for Karma while Prong uses Bug Buzz on Malamar.
Good thing they both doubled into Mal’s slot- not good for Karma, though. Well, regardless, I’ll double into Malamar with Sucker Punch and Thunderbolt, that way Malamar will definitely go down on this turn, they can’t stop both attacks! And hey, best case scenario, the leftover attack will hit the Metagross…!
That worked, more or less! As for who to replace Karma with…maybe Jack, his defenses will probably help against Metagross?
Those Meteor Mash boosts are looking spooky, so let’s use Thunderbolt on Metagross to kill it and Shadow Ball on Gallade.
So they doubled into Prong with Strength, cool…I’ll just have to send in Riptide now.
And this time, we’ll double into that darn Metagross with Crunch and Shadow Ball! They can’t stop both attacks!!
